The Director of Medical Staff Services provides strategic and operational leadership for all medical staff functions, medical education programs, and continuing medical education (CME) services. This role serves as the primary liaison between hospital administration and the medical staff, ensuring effective communication, regulatory compliance, and alignment with institutional goals. The Director ensures that all activities meet regulatory and accreditation standards and supports a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Directs and manages all functions of the Medical Staff Office, medical education, and CME programs.
Collaborates with medical staff leadership to ensure credentialing, privileging, peer review, and other medical staff functions are performed accurately and timely.
Oversees compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, state licensing, and other governing agencies.
Develops and administers departmental policies, procedures, and goals aligned with organizational priorities.
Prepares and manages departmental budget; monitors expenses and allocates resources effectively.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of initial and reappointment applications for medical staff and allied health professionals.
Coordinates continuing education offerings and ensures compliance with accreditation requirements for CME providers.
Serves as a key advisor to the Medical Executive Committee and other medical staff committees.
Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians, department chairs, executives, and external partners.
Supervises and mentors departmental staff, fostering professional development and team accountability.
