Responsibilities

 

We are seeking  newly graduated Registered Nurses (RN), sometimes referred to as a New Grad RN at St Joseph Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Kaunas City, MO.

You will be part of our Nursing staff, performing a wide range of duties to support patient care. Multiple Units available including: Med/Surg, Telemetry; ICU, Emergency Services and more! 

 

Bonus Options: up to $12,000

Shifts Available: Varies

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions and patient care
  • administer oral, intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), or subcutaneous medications, including pain management and antibiotics
  • use electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient assessments, interventions, medications given, and progress
  • handle multiple patients with varying acuity levels, often prioritizing tasks like responding to emergencies, addressing pain management, and ensuring timely medication administration
  • participate in a nurse orientation designed to transition new grads into practice
  • work closely with experienced nurses or preceptors to refine clinical and critical-thinking skills

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Current and valid state RN License
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire
3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire
5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
