The Medical Assistant for Employee Health supports the employee health team by providing clinical and administrative services to promote the health and safety of employees. This role involves assisting with health screenings, immunizations, injury care, and maintaining accurate employee health records. The Medical Assistant for Employee Health also provides information to employees so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic's services. Must be detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of handling confidential health information with discretion. Conveys a positive image of the organization.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant Certification.
3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.60 to $23.19. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
