The Director of Medical Group Operations oversees the practice operations for all locations in the Illinois Region. The Director is responsible for overseeing the management team that’s directly responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities, while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Director is responsible for staffing clinics, which includes recruitment and retention of staff. The Director is responsible for the organization’s ambulatory strategy. Direct reports include all practice Managers in the Illinois Region.
Collaborates closely with hospital C-suite executives within the Prime Healthcare Region VII.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and/or another healthcare related concentration preferred.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and/or another healthcare related concentration required.
3. Three (3) – five (5) years of Mid-level management within a large health system or large multi-specialty medical group required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $101,212.80 to $146,619.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
