We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team in providing safe, effective, and patient-centered perioperative care.

 

Position Summary

As a full-time CRNA at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, you will administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, gastrointestinal, and more. This role offers optional anesthesia call coverage for those interested in additional compensation and varied case experience. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

 

Schedule & Compensation

 

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week) with optional call coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetric, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic data review.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during surgery.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
  • Option to participate in call rotation for emergency and urgent cases (additional pay for call coverage).
  • Maintain accurate and complete anesthesia records in accordance with hospital policy and Pennsylvania state regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

 

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
  • Current National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
