Responsibilities

Under the direction of the DIO, the GME Institutional Coordinator of Prime Healthcare is responsible for the administrative functions of the Office of Graduate Medical Education related to program and institutional accreditation, data management and analysis, financial management, and resident employment and administrative support of the DIO. The role maintains oversight of evaluation and review of GME programs and compliance with Institutional Program and Common Program accreditation requirements. The individual may also lead projects and initiatives related to the GME as directed by the DIO.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:


1. Experience in education, health care administration, business administration or related field.
2. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
3. Managerial or administrative experience in a health care or academic setting.
4. Working knowledge of ACGME accreditation policies and procedures.
5. Strong organization, analytical, communication and planning skills.
6. Experience working collaboratively with executives, physicians, residents, and clinical staff.
7. Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and work well with professionals in varied organizational relationships.
8. Advanced analytical ability, including problem-solving, reasoning, and financial skills.
9. Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, which includes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.


Preferred qualifications:


1. Bachelors/ degree in education, health care administration, business administration or related field.
2. Certification in Project Management Or appropriately applicable field.
3. Experience working with New Innovations or other residency management system.
4. Familiarity with ACGME, AAMC and other accrediting and regulatory bodies that affect resident and fellow education and training.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $97,760.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
