Overview

We are seeking a Dishwasher, sometimes referred to as a Utility Worker.  The Dishwasher plays an important role in ensuring our patients, staff and visitors consume food and drink safely and free from any contaminents while in accordance with hospital and health department standards.

Shift’s Available:Days

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8am-4:30pm  (Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday)

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center - Kansas City, MO

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment as well as trays, plates, utensils and cups are cleaned and sanitized properly and thoroughly.
  • Ability to operate all equipment and machines in a proper and safe manner per hospital guidelines.
  • Identifies and utilizes proper cleaning chemicals to ensure that all items are cleaned properly and efficiently.
  • Keeps dishwashing area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Exhibits attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Able to follow specific safety and infection control procedures
  • Good attitude, team player
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
