Responsibilities

The Law Clerk(s) supports the Legal Department in various subject matters as assigned by the General Counsel.  The Law Clerk(s) may be assigned to a specific subject matter team or may be assigned as a floater across areas.  The Law Clerk(s) will conduct legal research, draft correspondence, review relevant documents, and provide recommendations and analysis to the supervising attorney and/or paralegal.  The Law Clerk(s) will assist the Legal Department in reducing cost on outside counsel by in-sourcing work and independently solving business challenges while providing sound legal guidance.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. Currently enrolled at an ABA Accredited Law School and is a Rising 3L or LLM (day or evening equivalent); other relevant post-graduate programs may be considered in lieu of Law School.
  2. Demonstrated interest in area being applied for either by course work or prior work experience.
     

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated ability to write persuasively, conduct legal research, evaluate risk, issue spot, and propose business solutions.
  2. Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.00 to $38.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
