The IT Project Analyst Coordinator will work along with Project Managers in managing and directing on-going IT projects and programs for Prime Healthcare. Under direction of the ITSM and Client Systems Director, the IT Project Analyst Coordinator will manage small to medium projects as assigned using PMI and Prime standard methods and techniques. The IT Project Analyst Coordinator will receive guidance and direction from the CIO, CTO, and IT Director. The IT Project Analyst Coordinator provides administrative, technical and implementation support for the continued success of assigned projects. The IT Project Analyst Coordinator will from time to time work directly with site directors and executive staff during implementation to guide them through the steps necessary for a successful project planning and implementation. The IT Project Analyst Coordinator will also support multiple IT projects to ensure they are properly documented and implemented in accordance to the approved standards. The IT Project Analyst Coordinator will provide support for reporting and communicating the status of all their assigned project/programs, on a weekly basis to all business stakeholders, Manager and IT Leadership.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. One (1) or more years of applicable work experience within project management.
2. Understanding of PMI methodology
3. Work experience in operational and/or technical areas of business
4. Experience multiple tasking and problem solving
5. Bachelor’s degree is required.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills
7. Ability to travel up to 50% and take calls as required
8. Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and/or priorities.
9. Ability to support nights and on weekends, especially during go-lives, implementations and upgrades
Preferred qualifications:
1. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.
2. Experience working on teams towards a common goal
3. Some computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project
