Per Diem Experienced Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Location: Landmark Medical Center
Shift: Nights, 3 × 12-hour shifts

Experienced Registered Nurse only; new graduates will not be considered.

Landmark Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a per diem, night shift schedule. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role provides direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.

• The RN will lead patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel, ensuring standards of care are consistently maintained.
• The nurse also maintains a safe environment for patients, families, and visitors and utilizes the chain of command as necessary to ensure appropriate care during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

These are all Requirements of this role:  

1. Current and valid RN license.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
3. BLS certification (AHA)
4. ACLS certification (AHA)
5. NRP certification.
6. Basic Fetal Monitoring certification.
7. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
8. AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate.
9. STABLE certification.
10. Proven clinical judgment and experience in Labor & Delivery or maternal-newborn care.
11. Strong communication and patient education skills.
