Shift: Full-Time, Days
Bonus: up to $7,500 Sign-on
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practical nursing. The LPN performs technical and manual nursing tasks that address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care while effectively communicating with patients and their families. All duties are performed under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
Deliver safe, compassionate, and competent nursing care to assigned patients.
Assist with patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under RN supervision.
Administer medications and treatments as delegated and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient care and concerns.
Support patient education and assist in promoting health and wellness.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Participate in the maintenance of a safe and clean patient care environment.
Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
1. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire.
