Under the direction of the Regional VP of Medical Groups and Director of Finance – Medical Groups, the Corporate Finance Analyst will work on various Medical Group projects for the Medical Groups team. This role supports Clinical Operations and Financial Operations in driving meaningful year-over-year growth for Prime's Medical Group Operations. The analyst will work with stakeholders from multiple Medical Groups and Prime corporate departments and be a strong team player:
· Analyze monthly and quarterly reports regarding medical group performance and provide thoughtful insight and recommendations on the business' trajectory
· Drive decision making using analytics (i.e. benchmarking, other ad hoc requests) to support initiatives of the Medical Group Operations team
· Generate standard monthly operating/financial reports
· Assemble presentations for monthly and quarterly Medical Group and JV board meetings
· Build financial models and projections for transactions with new physician investors and potential merger
· Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
· Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient processes that deliver optimum results
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business field required (Finance/Economics/Accounting)
2. 1-2 years of experience working in a Medical Group related role with relevant healthcare experience is required
3. Qualified candidate will be analytical, a critical thinker, intellectually curious, with decision making skills
4. Understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial statements/reporting
5. Ability to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, and recognize patterns
6. Ability to meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and manage conflicting priorities
7. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred qualifications:
1. Working knowledge of government & non-governmental payor reimbursement methodologies, coding practices, and denials & appeals protocols preferred.
2. Strong computer skills including but not limited to in MS Office products like Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
3. Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information of both, patient and employees.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $56,160.00 to $81,328.00 on an annualized basis.
