The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who provides administrative oversight for all nursing services during their shift. This per diem role ensures efficient hospital operations, smooth patient flow, and high-quality care across the facility.
Conduct rounds to monitor patient care, staff performance, and service quality.
Supervise, support, and communicate with staff across all departments.
Manage hospital operations in the absence of administrative leadership.
Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Ensure temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented per hospital policy.
Assist medical staff with after-hour procedures and standby call staff coordination.
Support patients and families by explaining hospital policies and enhancing their experience.
