Responsibilities

The Healthcare Insurance Verification Manager oversees all aspects of the insurance verification and authorization process within the Revenue Cycle Management department. This role ensures that patient insurance information is verified accurately and timely to support clean claims submission, reduce denials, and optimize reimbursement. The manager provides leadership, performance oversight, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance with payer and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.    High school diploma or equivalent experience required

2.    Bachelors’ Degree preferred.

3.    Three to Five years’ experience as a supervisor/ manager in the Revenue Cycle areas of a healthcare facility preferred

4.     Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret third party payer principles and terms and COBRA laws. Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physicians, public, staff and administrations. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

5.    Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

6.    Effective written and verbal communication skills

7.    Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines

8.    Analytical and problem-solving skills

9.    Customer Services experience required

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $59,280 to $85,862 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
