What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily unit operations and step in as acting leader when the Director or Manager is away.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead orientation and training for new staff, fostering a positive and skilled team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
  • Monitor patient care and guide staff in real-time adjustments to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care when needed, within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Current and valid state RN License.

2.     Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.

3.     Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.

4.     Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

5.     RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred.

6.     PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.

Pay Transparency

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 to $55.70. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
