Responsibilities

As a Director of Nursing leading nursing operations one of our facilities, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Organizes and administers areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility’s objectives established by hospital administration.
  • Hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of the patient.
  • Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care treatment and services.
  • Participates with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility’s decision-making structures and processes.
  • Implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients.

Qualifications

In order to be considered for a Director of Nursing position within our facilities, you'll possess the following qualifications:


1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Minimum of 5 years Acute Care experience.
5. Minimum of 2 years previous Administrative experience preferred.
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.
