Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on, highly knowledgeable Leave & Accommodation Manager II to manage the full cycle of medical leaves of absence and workplace accommodation requests for assigned facilities. This position is ideal for someone who excels in FMLA administration, ADA/ADAAA compliance, PWFA, state leave laws, and high-volume case management.

  • Subject matter expert in end-to-end leave of absence and accommodation management, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, state disability laws, STD/LTD, Pregnancy Disability Leave, and Return-to-Work coordination.
  • Conduct employee intake, eligibility determination, documentation review, notifications, and pay integration while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Facilitate interactive process meetings, provide guidance to employees and managers, and act as a subject matter expert and escalation resource.
  • Maintain the Leave and Accommodation case management software to monitor attendance patterns, identify trends, and proactively address potential issues. We can tell them its AT on the calls, but I don’t want to market Absences product.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to Leave & Accommodation Manager I team members.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage high-volume cases, multi-state leave programs, and complex HR scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, case management systems, and HR workflows; ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

1. College degree or at least 5 years’ experience in leave administration.
2. Previous experience coordinating employee leaves, e.g. medical, personal, FMLA, or ADA.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
4. Superior interpersonal skills required.

Pay Transparency

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
