Overview

Responsibilities

The EMT-Paramedic is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Basic EMT-P Registry

2.     E.R. experience preferred

3.     Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4.     CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.

5.     ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current. 

6.     PALS certification upon hire and maintain current. 

Pay Transparency

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $26.88. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
