Overview
Prime Healthcare, in partnership with Central Maine Healthcare, is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our growing surgical program at Central Maine Medical Center located in Lewiston.
This position offers an opportunity to join an expanding surgical service line within a regional health system that serves communities throughout central Maine. The incoming surgeon will provide comprehensive vascular care, including both open and endovascular procedures, and collaborate with cardiology, interventional radiology, nephrology, and critical care teams.

Procedures May Include
Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR / TEVAR)
Peripheral vascular interventions
Carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting
Lower extremity bypass surgery
Dialysis access creation and maintenance
Management of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia
Venous disease management and thrombectomy procedures

Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of vascular disease
Perform open and endovascular procedures in a hospital-based surgical setting
Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular consultations
Participate in call coverage and vascular service line development
Collaborate with cardiology, nephrology, wound care, and critical care services
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of accredited Vascular Surgery residency or fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
Eligible for medical licensure in Maine
DEA certification required
