Position Overview
Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the medical staff at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania. This physician will provide comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional cardiology services, including diagnostic cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Lower Bucks Hospital is a community-based acute care facility serving the residents of Lower Bucks County with a wide range of medical and surgical services, including a well-established cardiology program. The hospital is part of Prime Healthcare, a nationally recognized health system operating dozens of hospitals across the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing a broad range of interventional procedures.
Interest in program growth and cardiovascular service line development.
Prior hospital-based practice experience.

Professional development opportunities
Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provide consultative cardiology services for hospitalized patients and collaborate with hospitalists, emergency physicians, and primary care providers.
Interpret diagnostic studies including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging.
Participate in cardiovascular quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.
Participate in on-call coverage for cardiology services as assigned.
Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with nursing, cath lab staff, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Support teaching opportunities and educational activities when applicable.
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
Completion of an accredited fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Current DEA and ACLS certification.
Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
