Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Patient Transportation Program, ensuring patients have timely, reliable, and positive transportation experiences for their outpatient appointments, tests, therapy sessions, and other scheduled services. This role supports program effectiveness by coordinating scheduling, dispatching drivers, maintaining vehicles, tracking performance data, and upholding exceptional patient experience and customer service standards. The Program Coordinator is central to operational flow, regulatory compliance, and the overall success of the transportation service.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.       A minimum of three (3) years working in a healthcare setting.

2.       Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school required, or equivalent years of experience.

3.       Aware of current policies and requirements in a healthcare transportation program.

4.       Demonstrated project management across multiple geographic locations including the use of Microsoft Business tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, preferred.

5.       Previous experience leading and/or dispatching for a transportation program, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $30.41. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
