Responsibilities

The Front Office Supervisor will educate, monitor, and train the various department staff members according to their positions, as assigned by the Imaging Director. This includes assisting with the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluations of assigned staff. The Supervisor will ensure there is consistent communication between the department and physicians’ offices, for scheduling appointments for all modalities, as well as ascertaining all necessary authorizations have been obtained. Front desk responsibilities include answering all phone calls and assisting to resolve any questions or issues. Additionally, they will oversee the transmission of images to disc, and/or sharing with other facilities through the Nuance system. Daily, will maintain and manage all images and reports in the PACS system; troubleshooting any issues that may arise. When down time occurs, they will track exams and reports to be sure they are all matched and accounted for.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. A minimum of one (1) year of clerical experience or receptionist experience required. Supervisor experienced preferred.
2. A minimum of one (1) year experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS) and Vascular Radiology Information Systems (VRIS) preferred.
3. Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $30.15. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
