We are seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant (LCMA), also referred to as a Certified Medical Assistant Lead or Senior Certified Medical Assistant. The Lead Certified Medical Assistant will support both clinical and administrative tasks, such as taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, updating patient records, and coordinating appointments. In addition to providing direct patient care, the Lead Certified Medical Assistant will serve as a team lead for Medical Assistants by helping coordinate daily workflow, supporting staff, promoting efficient clinic operations, and ensuring high standards of patient care and service.  

Shifts Available: Days (No Weekends) 

Employment Type: Full Time 

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

** You must be a Certified Medical Assistant from the National Healthcare Association or other nationally recognized organization to move forward in this position.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): 

• Greet and prepare patients for orthopedic exams and procedures, while recording patient history and vital signs 
• Assist with orthopedic procedures, bandaging, splinting, wound care, and patient education on pre-op and post-op instructions 
• Coordinate diagnostic and imaging tests, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare exam rooms, supplies, and equipment 
• Manage scheduling, charts, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support efficient clinic operations 
• Lead daily Medical Assistant workflow, support training, answer team questions, and promote strong communication between staff, providers, and patients 

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

• Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current
• Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required 

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred
• Lead / Management experience preferred
• Training / Preceptor experience preferred
