• Lead and support daily Mammography operations while helping guide workflow, staff, and patient care activities.
• Serve as a resource for the team by promoting collaboration, strong communication, and excellent patient experiences.
• Assist leadership with staff coaching, annual evaluations, and departmental support in the absence of leadership.
• Perform advanced mammography imaging procedures that support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality initiatives, and local/federal regulatory guidelines.
• Provide compassionate care while assisting with sensitive patient and family situations.
• Work closely with Radiologists and the Imaging team to deliver efficient, high-quality imaging services for patients of all ages.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. Current ARRT certification.
3. Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
4. Current experience as a radiology technologist.
5. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
6. Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
7. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
8. Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
9. Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).
