Overview

We are seeking a Medical Practice Manager, sometimes referred to as a Practice Manager or Clinic Manager. Our Medical Practice Manager will oversee daily clinic operations, support staffing and workflow efficiency, and deliver exceptional patient care experience. The Medical Practice Manager will lead the team, manage financial performance, ensure compliance, and partner closely with providers to support access and growth.

Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center/Gadsden Physician Management Gadsden, AL

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): 

  • Report to the Practice Administration and Clinic Director and provides leadership and administrative oversight to practice operations 
  • Plandevelop, and organize workflows while directing day-to-day activities of staff and practice functions 
  • Manage financial performance including staffing efficiency budget awareness and supporting revenue cycle processes 
  • Promote the practice within Gadsden Physician Manaagement and throughout the broader medical community 
  • Maintain working knowledge of clinical operations and steps in supporting coverage when needed within licensure guidelines
  • The Office Manager spends 80% + of time performing expert duties related to clinic director and related areas of expertise; less than 20% of time is spent on the management activities

     

Qualifications

Education and Training

 

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  

  • Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the clinics office
  • Knowledge of collection procedures and regulations
  • Computer and word processing skills
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

 

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: 

  • Three to five years experience in health care practice office
  • Management experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
