CT Technologist Trainee (Non-Certified) – Radiology
(Only ARRT is required)

Starting Salary: $31.30 to $45.33 per hour (Estimated weekly pay: $1,252.00 – $1,813.20)

Schedule: Full-Time, Variable Shifts (5 x 8 hour shifts)

Support CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting while training alongside experienced CT Techs. Assist with procedures, patient care, and image capture while following safety and quality standards.

 

This structured role is built to develop your CT skills and prepare you to earn your ARRT CT certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

The Non – Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist. The Non – Certified CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, aiding in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.  The Non-Certified CT Technologist will complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics that are required to sit for and complete the ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire.  This is a training position in the CT department.  The Non-Certified CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.    One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2.    Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

3.    Radiology state license is required. 

4.    Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire

5.    ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.

6.    Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7.    Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31.30 to $45.33. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
