Overview

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center  (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region's only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. CMMC also serves as the central Maine base for LifeFlight of Maine, the state's only medical helicopter service.

Responsibilities

Reporting under the Hospital CFO – Revenue & Reporting, this position will be a key team member. The Sr. Financial Reimbursement Analyst will work on various projects, ad hoc request, and monthly/quarterly/annual reviews and analysis around revenue cycle, reimbursements, and financial reporting. The Sr. Financial Reimbursement Analyst will also work with those in Corporate Finance, including hospital Controllers and CFOs, Legal, Managed Care, and Health Plan Operations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree or three years of equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting.
  2. Experience in preparation of financial statements or models.
  3. Experience working with Excel (v-lookups, sumif, sumproduct, indirect, etc..)
  4. 2 years of revenue cycle analytical experience with hospital systems.
  5. Certified Public Accountant preferred.
  6. Audit experience preferred.
