The Associate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) ensures the reliability, scalability, and performance of the organization’s systems and applications. This role is a hybrid of software engineering and systems/network engineering, focusing on automation, cloud infrastructure, and proactive problem-solving. This position also ensures the reliability, scalability, and performance of healthcare systems and applications, including electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, and medical imaging solutions. The position closely works under the guidance and supervision of the IT Manager and IT Director.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field.
2. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
3. Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Go).
4. Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) and systems architecture.
5. Experience with monitoring tools, DevOps practices, and automated deployment pipelines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (EHR platforms, telemedicine applications) and data compliance standards (HIPAA), preferred.
8. Certifications in cloud or security: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $45.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
