About the Opportunity
Pulmonary Consultants & Wellness Center is seeking an experienced ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC to join our pulmonary/critical care team for a full-time daytime position at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. This role is available to cover a maternity leave and offers the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and organizational needs.
Position Highlights
Full-time day shift coverage
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Competitive compensation: $950 per shift
Independent Contractor (1099) position
Malpractice insurance provided
Opportunity for long-term employment following the assignment
Provide comprehensive inpatient pulmonary and critical care services
Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
Participate in daily rounds and care planning
Current ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC certification
Active DEA license
Minimum 1 year inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospital setting preferred)
license in California
DEA license and furnishing number (if applicable)
Hospital-based pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, or acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation. Compensation range for this role is $950 per shift. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
