The Associate Director of Accounts Payable (AP) provides enterprise leadership for the AP shared services function across all hospital entities. The role leverages deep subject matter expertise to implement and optimize systems and processes that drive operational efficiency and desired business outcomes. Responsibilities include oversight of invoice ingestion and processing, procure-to-pay workflows, vendor management, and disbursements, ensuring standardized processes, compliance, and effective financial stewardship.
This procure-to-pay role will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders across the system and is accountable for ensuring adherence to established vendor, procurement, and payment policies/procedures.
The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in championing and implementing automation, driving process improvements, strengthening controls and enhancing day-to-day AP operations for invoice visibility, payment accuracy/timeliness, customer service improvements, productivity KPI monitoring, SLA performance, and overall cost efficiency.
Additionally, this role oversees the resolution of payment issues, exception management, and team development initiatives to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and enhance financial visibility. The position will partner closely with executive leadership, supply chain, finance, PrimEra and IT to ensure AP practices align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise-wide standardization initiatives.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $134,784.00 to $197,912.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
