This position is accountable for assuming instructional leadership in the area of education design, planning, implementation, and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services in the emergency services department. As such, position responsibilities focus on accomplishing goals within the domain of professional development and teaching/learning.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Emergency Nursing certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience in emergency nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience.
• Master’s preparation in nursing and/or education, or comparable graduate education preferred.
• Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $76,440.00 to $102,897.60 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
