Psychiatric APN – Full-Time

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our Behavioral Health team. The APN will provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing care in collaboration with psychiatrists and the interdisciplinary team.

Conduct psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits
Diagnose and manage behavioral health conditions
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
Develop and support individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other clinical team members
Provide patient and family education
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Current Illinois APRN license
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
Prescriptive authority as required
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Behavioral health experience preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-140,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
