Occupational Therapist – Full Time Days

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, consultation, and therapeutic intervention services to help patients restore functional abilities, maximize independence, and prevent disability. Working as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team, this role develops and implements treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, self-care, daily living skills, and overall functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, adaptive techniques, and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital, state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with occupational therapy practice standards, patient safety guidelines, and quality care initiatives.
