Employment Type: Full-time

Shifts Available: Day Shift 

Hours: 8-hour shifts- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center- Kansas City, MO

You’ll collaborate closely with providers and the clinical team, deliver exceptional patient care, and play an important role in shaping the patient experience as the practice continues to grow.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included, but are not limited to):

  • Provide hands-on LPN support for patient visits, exams, and in-office urology procedures.
  • Obtain vital signs, histories, specimens, and assist with catheter care, medications, and treatments within scope of practice
  • Educate patients, coordinate follow-up care, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Partner closely with providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Play an active role in launching and growing our new Urology Clinic by helping develop efficient workflows and a positive patient experience.

 

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
  • Current State LPN license
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained
  • One year of experience as an LPN, preferred
