Responsibilities

Manages MEDITECH/enterprise system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting. Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems. Other systems that will managed are EPIC Acute and MEDITECH Magic.

Acts as a liaison for Departments for Clinical System issues.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred.
  3. 2 years work experience in a hospital setting required.
  4. Clinical experience preferred.
  5. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers.
