The Cash Applications Analyst is responsible for posting all incoming payments to correct patient accounts daily.  Needs to be able to input and retrieve data from the computer system and apply payments to patient accounts accurately and efficiently.  Will also be responsible for accurate and timely payment analysis of managed care contracts to determine that appropriate reimbursement is received.

Must be able to utilize many complex and varying regulations, guidelines and systems, to analyzes payments received from insurance companies to assure maximum and correct reimbursement of Hospital's receivables. Proactively works with payers and in-house resources to identify and resolve issues that hinder optimal and correct account payment.

Education and Work Experience

  1. Four years of experience in Accounts Payable or hospital cash posting or banking required
