The Director of Emergency Services Operations and Development is responsible for system wide coordination of Emergency Services across Prime Healthcare Region I that supports corporate-wide initiatives, operations of all Emergency Services programs and aspects of Emergency Services business development. The director will also assume a leadership role in developing, implementing and coordinating strategies and programs with Region I CNO to track and increase patient throughput, volumes, growth and revenue, and decrease Emergency Services diversion time. This leader works collaboratively with Administration and Leadership at the facility level to oversee compliance with goals and objectives established by Prime Healthcare.






Required qualifications:


1.    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

2.    Master’s degree in related field

3.    7-10 years healthcare experience, Emergency Services required

4.    Minimum of 3-5 years in healthcare leadership or administrative role

5.    Strong knowledge and experience in program planning, organization, utilization, implementation, and operations

6.    Excellent communication and leadership skills

7.    Critical thinking skills, autonomous and self-driven, able to work well independently and with others

8.    Background in Lean/Six Sigma

9.    Proficient with computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
