Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. The Plant Ops Supervisor supports the Plant Ops Director with maintaing and repairing equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving as needed for company business.  The Supervisor supports the Plant Ops Director by assisting in managing all work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, engineering, grounds, and safety. The Supervisor supports the Director and acts as liaison between Medical Center and all contracted personnel/vendors performing Facilities related work. The Supervisor presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public


Education and Work Experience

  1. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous material and safety management experience required. Supervisor experience necessary.
  2. HVAC Certification or License preferred.
  3. A minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
  4. Knowledge of hospital associated codes.
  5. Experience with Life Safety and EOC for hopsital surveys, preferred.
  6. Experience in management/supervision of all Facilities related departments (EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, etc).
  7. Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
  8. Valid state driver's license.
  9. High School Diploma or equivalent required.College degree preferred.
