Responsibilities

St. Joseph Medical Center is looking for Certified Nurse Assistants for a few of our patient floors. Our CNA’s assist with patient care throughout our nursing areas as directed by nursing supervisors. We are looking for individuals with a positive, go-getter attitude… someone willing to go the extra mile for our patients. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in the maintenance of a safe environment. As you would expect, you will be part of a close and supportive Nurse/Nurse Assistant Team providing excellent patient care. Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
  2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  4. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

  1. Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement.
