Performs general clerical and technical work involving the preparation and maintenance of patient related records and billing information to ensure procedures and charges are coded accurately and corrects billing errors. Maintains office files, variety of other records as well as a wide variety of clerical duties, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence. Position is responsible for accurate and timely input insurance information on patient accounts and work with billing company to ensure all charges are coded and billed appropriately. Communicates clearly and efficiently by phone and in person with our clients and staff members. Maintains productivity standards and reports. Obtains updated demographic information and all necessary information needed to comply with insurance billing requirements.


Education and Work Experience
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  2. 1- 2 years secretarial experience preferred.
  3. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose correspondence.
  4. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  5. Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
