We offer graduate program work opportunities and clinical training in most areas of nursing, such as Med/Surg, ED and ICU!  Our program will allow new graduates to obtain unique experience through an intimate internship program and then transition into full-time staff roles.


New Grad Registered Nurse - Job Responsibilities:


The Graduate Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Graduate Registered Nurse may only practice professional nursing under supervision and if the Graduate Registered Nurse holds a current temporary practice permit. “Supervision” means that a licensed Registered Nurse (PRECEPTOR) is physically present in the area or unit where the Graduate Registered Nurse is practicing.  The Graduate Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  





  • Provides direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice
  • Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Specified Unit
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
  • Ability to conduct a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per unit care area statement
  • Answers patients' call lights, anticipates patients' needs and makes safety rounds of patients
  • Ability to adequately evaluate and reevaluate pain. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.  Must utilize appropriate pain management techniques
  • Ability to carry out and adjust plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate complete plan daily for effectiveness
  • Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Manager, co-workers and physicians
  • Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments
  • Documentation meets current standards and policies
  • Manages and operates equipment safely
  • Coordinates and supervises patient care as necessary
  • Functions as liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care
  • Working knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition
  • Demonstrates ability to perform unit specific competencies to include the performance of nursing treatments and provision of clinical services
  • Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work in designated time
  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Completes annual educational requirements
  • Complies with Health and Safety Standards and Guidelines
  • Maintains regulatory requirements


**The Graduate Registered Nurse will take the NCLEX-RN within three months of hiring. **

Education, Training and Work Experience:


  • ADNs are welcome!
  • Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of practice.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • IV certification upon hire
