Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a Nurse who is motivated and dedicated to the art of Rehabilitation. We encourage, teaching and engaging patient in the healing process as they regain independence and find their "new normal" after a life altering medical event, injury or other disabling impairment. We specialize in facilitating recovery from Strokes, brain Injuries, Orthopedic injuries or surgeries and many other diabling imparment. Our goal is to help paitnet achieve thir highest level of independence and quality of life in the acute care setting.
The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Minimum one-year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
4. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
5. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire
6. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) training within six (6) months of hire and maintain current
