The Certified Scrub Tech III is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining the sterile field during the case and providing the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures. The Certified Scrub Tech III must have greater than 1 year's experience. The employee must be proficient in the following surgical specialties: General Surgery, Urology, Eyes (cataracts), GYN, and Hand surgery. The Certified Scrub Tech III demonstrates proficiency and skill in basic spine procedures (Laminectomies), Sports Medicine, and Orthopedic Total Joints and Joint Revisions. This will include complicated spinal fusion surgery (including 360 fusions), Complicated ACL replacements, Rotator Cuff Repairs, Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Revision surgeries,Total Ankle Replacements and Total Femur Replacements. The employee will b the primary scrub technician. The employee must be a Certified Surgical Tech to be considered for Certified Scrub Tech III.
