This Clinician I position is for the Enhanced Outpatient Program (EOP) located at 50 Morris Ave., Denville NJ.  EOP provides intensive individual and group therapy to adults diagnosed with a primary mental health concern or co-occurring diagnosis.  The primary modality for services is group therapy, and the average length of stay is approximately 6 months.  The Clinician completes a bio-psycho-social assessment, and in collaboration with the individual, develops a treatment plan with goals/objectives for services.  The Clinician provides individual and group therapy, and will also address case management needs as needed.  The Clinician facilitates discharge planning, providing referral/linkage when indicated.  A working knowledge of adult crisis intervention, and short-term models of therapy are preferred.  The Clinician works as part of a multi-disciplinary team and interfaces with both internal and external providers.

Provides clinical services to youth and family including crisis intervention strategies, when indicated. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team Meetings, record keeping, and consultation and education. Develops interventions based on youth needs and practices utilization management.

Education and Work Experience

1. LCSW preferred; LPC, LCADC license for independent practice level required. (If the employee holds one or more of these licenses, primary source verification must be tracked annually).
2. Master's in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
