Responsibilities

Our Athletic Trainer duties include, but are not limited to:

  • assists in the provision of therapy services to maximize the physical mobility and functional skills of all patients and athletes.
  • services provided include, but are not limited to: injury prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning, organization and administration, and professional responsibility
  • assisting in performance of therapeutic exercise for individuals with orthopedic and/or sports related injuries
  • services are, of course, performed according to established standard and practices

 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields
  • previous work experience as an athletic trainer, preferred
  • licensed by the Board of State
  • BLS for healthcare providers certification upon hire and maintain current
  • certified, or certification eligible, in accordance with National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) standards
