Responsibilities

The Practice Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and delivery of Business services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Practice Manager maintains operation within budgetary parameters. Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients families/significant other(s) to ensure comprehensive care, while maintaining standard of professional business service. The Practice Manager is accountable to the Director of Practice Operation for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING


1. Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
2. Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare management or business development experience is required.
3. Successful track record of planning, implementing and managing new business ventures.
4. Evidence of exceptional customer service skills and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
6. Preferred M.B.A.
7. Proven experience in management of finance, strategic planning, and marketing of health care services is preferred.
 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
 
8. Must be Highly Motivated and Entrepreneurial
9. Exhibits excellent organizational, resource management and communications skills
10. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization
11. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff
12. Demonstrates the ability to work as a team and alone
13. Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize a large volume of detail-oriented work
14. Excellent ability to communicate and work collaboratively with all disciplines and levels of clinical and administrative professionals to help create practical implementation of clinic goals and objectives.
15. Ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
