Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Performance Improvement will be responsible for PHS facilities to development, implementation, integration and coordination of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety. Will facilitate Performance Improvement program and assumes a leadership role in accreditation and licensure activities. Work collaboratively with Administration and Leadership at the facility level. Ensures execution and communication of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety activities occurs from the department level to Board of Trustees. Ensures that all employees, including medical staff and members of the Board of Trustees articulate the Performance Improvement plan and activities. Ensures that the organizational goals and activities support optimal patient outcomes.

 

The Associate Director of Performance Improvement will report and support VP Quality and Value Based Care to serve as an expert resource within Prime Healthcare Services as related to clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory and performance improvement issues, and activities related to accreditation.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in health-related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of five years of current experience in hospital management, inclusive of a leadership role in performance improvement and risk management.
3. Active RN License or License in related healthcare field preferred.
4. Certification in Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Healthcare Accreditation highly desirable
5. Excellent in communication and management skills.
6. Proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database.
