Under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy, state and federal regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements.

The Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all Ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Additional responsibilities include positioning the patient and equipment to produce an appropriate recording. Other duties include processing and transmitting images as needed.

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. The ideal individual for this position is a Boiler Operator with high pressure steam license and/or 1st Class Stationary Engineer license preferred.
