The Program Coordinator should be organized in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external program relations. Utilize high degree of computer skills with data input and reporting mechanisms. Documentation, including data for quality measures of routine audits, and CORE Measures; may include clinical trials and studies. Check and reorder supplies and medications, and stock as needed daily. Schedule procedures for out-patients and prioritize all requests. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides educational services for areas of patient care services to attain the Hospital�s objectives, mission and values established by corporate administration. Assists with development and implementation of nursing education plans for providing training in all settings. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides hands on training for nursing staff to support the educational goals for the hospital. The Surgery Scheduling Coordinator routinely books surgical cases for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adult patients for the OR and the G.I. Lab. Coordinates and confirms the acquisition of services, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries. Prepares and distributes the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnel. Checks, enters and reconciles the daily patient charges. Prepares and distributes the monthly surgical statistics. Updates the Surgery Schedules and completes the required Log Book. Answers phones and appropriately communicates messages. FOR INTEGRATED CASE MANAGEMENT, POWER, AND RESIDENTIAL SERVICES: Provides community-based mental health case management. Degree and scope of service intervention vary based on program as well as the changing needs of the individual. FOR ADOLESCENT PARTIAL CARE, ADOLESCENT RESIDENCE, AND ADULT PARTIAL CARE: Responsible for assisting in assessing client progress, planning treatment interventions and documentation of therapeutic activities. A Nurse Extern may only practice under supervision of a Professional Nurse. The Nurse Extern is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Nurse Extern can assist with patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Nurse Extern is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. The nurse Extern can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. The Nurse Extern must take the NCLEX-RN within three months of graduation.

The GI LAB RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the Shift Nursing Supervisor. Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care for the Medical-Surgical Outpatient and/or Inpatients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedure through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescents, adults and older adults. The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.  Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.  Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.  Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
