Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. The Physical Therapist I performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
The Lead Physical Therapist possesses the clinical, administrative and compliance knowledge to support the management of the physical therapy department. They provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. The Lead Physical Therapist performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
The Behavioral Health Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the quality of nursing staff and the delivery of patient care during his/her shift and assists the Director in the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/department. He/she provides direct communication with the Director and/or House Supervisor of unanticipated patient care events and/or risk management activities within patient care unit(s); Utilizes nursing personnel effectively, assisting with required scheduling, staffing and assignments; Provides direction, supervision and evaluation of staff and/or staff education as necessary; Assists with performance evaluations, progressive discipline of staff and other related HR activities as needed; Assesses supplies and equipment availability, ensures their proper use and functionality and assists in the daily maintenance of par levels; Collaborates with other department managers/supervisors to ensure smooth coordination of services to patients; enhanced patient flow within the facility and efficient admission/discharge/transfer processes; Assesses patient care delivery and quality of care/documentation on a consistent basis; directs staff members to make immediate changes in the plan of care, as appropriate to ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines, hospital policies, procedures, protocols and/or clinical pathways and notifies Department Director, House Supervisor and/or Medical Staff as appropriate utilizing the chain of command. Interviews patients/families on admission and during rounds to enhance positive patient experiences, provide comprehensive orientation to the patient care unit and increase patient/family awareness on how to access services and/or the charge nurse, if necessary. The Charge Nurse may perform direct patient care within scope of practice and clinical competency to ensure patient safety and patient/nurse ratios; he/she shall be temporarily relieved of Charge Nurse duties during such times by Director/designee and shall document details of same on patient care assignment record.

Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment. Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving as needed for company business. Each individual performs those waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, Bus. & Prof. Code Section 1204, and must possess a degree of skill commensurate with individuals education, training or experience and technical abilities. Each individual performing the above procedures must:
- Adhere to the laboratory's procedures for the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results
- Follow the laboratory's established quality control policies and procedures in documenting all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications
- Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance and either correct the problem or immediately notify your immediate supervisor, Director, or Medical Director
- Perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures requiring independent judgment using both manual and automated methods in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Microbiology, Immunology, and any other discipline as introduced into the laboratory
- Perform and document maintenance daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed on instruments and equipment as appropriate
- Review the accuracy of patient results prior to releasing or reporting
- Recognize age specific differences in expected results for newborns to geriatrics
- Ensure that the testing of proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples and that collaboration with other laboratories is prohibited prior to the reporting of proficiency testing results to the appropriate agencies
- May be required to perform venipuncture or capillary puncture on various age groups from newborn to geriatrics
- Assist in the development and maintenance of laboratory policies and procedures
- Adheres to all department and hospital policies and procedures related to safety, infection control, emergency preparedness, and human resources
- In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead Tech, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift
- May be assigned responsibilities related to LIS and/or POCT.

The Coding Quality Analyst – Physician Group analyzes abstracts and codes the diagnostic and procedural information for physician outpatient and office medical records utilizing the International Classifications of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10-CM) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) in accordance with regulatory agencies and physician office specific guidelines. The Coding Quality Analyst – Physician Group enters the coded data and other abstracted data from the medical record into the electronic information system, facilitating the physician offices and the billing department’s indexing responsibility for internal use (such as to support medical care evaluation studies), and mandated reporting requirements.
The Coding Quality analyst supports the overall quality of coding including all information to be submitted for billing to payors and patients. This role will review medical records prior to release from the billing system and alert management to potential abstracting and coding issues. Daily responsibilities include, responding to coding questions for all key stakeholders, training of additional staff, performing quality reviews and audits, communication of audit findings and results to management, and providing ongoing education and updated to providers and coders. The Coding Quality Analyst will continuously collaborate with the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team, other Coding Quality Analysts, management and providers.
This is a hybrid position. 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
